Better Life. Better Together. Korea Reunification.
About
New Korea Foundation International (NKFI) is a US based 501(c)(3) non-profit with offices in Minneapolis, MN and Seoul, South Korea. Through our work we seek to advocate for, provide education, improve quality of life, and work to unify the Korean people for a better life, together.
I also told them about the gracious hand of my God on me and what the king had said to me.
They replied, “Let us start rebuilding.” So they began this good work.
-Nehemiah 2:18
They will rebuild the ancient ruins
and restore the places long devastated;
they will renew the ruined cities
that have been devastated for generations.
– Isaiah 61:4

Our Founder

Imprisoned in North Korean for nearly two years, Korean American missionary Kenneth Bae has the most unexpected testimony of fear, hope, faithfulness, and a deep abiding love for the people of North Korea. Out of a harrowing experience within the “Hermit Kingdom” of North Korea, the most dangerous country in the world, Kenneth was inspired to start New Korea Foundation International (NKFI), a USA based 501(c)(3).
